HOW OUR THERAPY SESSIONS WORK
You will be seen in one of our comfortably furnished rooms, on a 1:1 or group basis depending on your needs and your preference.
Your session will last for about an hour, and together we will begin to work through your issues, building a clear pathway to your end goal.
You will be encouraged to do work between sessions, even if it's just something small, giving you a sense of achievement and helping you appreciate the positive strides you are making.
HOW LONG DOES TREATMENT TAKE?
We cannot be specific about how long you will be treated for, because everyone is different.
The most important thing is that we progress at a pace that suits you. We don't want you to feel rushed or pressurised on the one hand, or that it's dragging on the other.
We usually recommend seeing you every 1-2 weeks to begin with, to build momentum.
This will naturally progress to once every 2-4 weeks, as we begin to take control of your problems.
Eventually, we will together feel that you are in a place that will allow us to discuss bringing our work together to a close.
